She and her co-founder’s workshops were featured in publications like O, the Oprah Magazine. She often speaks at events like SXSW, the CORE conference, and the New York Travel Festival.
Previously, Abigail worked as the director of content to oversee the world’s biggest Disney news site. Prior to that, she was the digital managing director for Outside Inc., where she oversaw Outside Online, Backpacker, Climbing, and SKI. She has also worked as a senior editor at REI, the engagement editor at Outside magazine, an associate editor at Real Simple, and as part of the Healthy Living team at The Huffington Post. She started her career interning at Time Out Magazine and AOL, and has freelanced for Runner’s World, Condé Nast Traveler, and Romper. Publications such as Travel + Leisure, Reader's Digest, Time, and PopSci have also featured her work.
Today, Abigail lives on an organic greens and veggies farm with her husband, stepdaughter, son, and four very good dogs—plus, four goats and a lot of chickens.
